But ~40 pounds of them for $12 at Goodwill, all unopened? Deal!
Those Fleer boxes were $25 new in 1998 - ignoring the Topps baggies, that would make this haul worth about $600 for the boxes alone. If only they held their value, that is. I’ll probably let my girlfriend sell those at her mom’s antique shop for $3 a box.
The Topps cards are all from 1987, and the most valuable I can hope to find is (apparently) a Barry Bonds rookie card, which is worth $8.00 according to this site: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
I’ll probably end up giving them out next Halloween after I’ve had time to look at them all. Kids still like baseball cards, right? Right?

You need to put them on your bike with clothes pins.

My phone was loading the picture so it was pixelated and I thought that was a giant pile of condoms.

Where in the world are you that a picture on your phone loads like it is on a 1200 baud modem?

Well my mobile internet was down to draconian edge speeds so that’s why.

These days, they are basically worth their weight in card stock.

Sounds like a good deal! I doubt any of those cards are signed and/or contain stuff like small samples of player’s bats or uniforms, but those are sweet rare finds. Will you liberate them all or just keep them as semi-mint?

Huh. My goodwill sucks lately. Theyve gotten greedy and charge a fortune. A small bag of hot wheels? About $25. No more good bargains or awesome finds.

I have no idea, honestly. I’ll probably open at least half of them or so, or at least until I find that Barry Bonds or something else cool.

Mine does that sometimes, too. I’ve seen several things with the Goodwill crayon/marker/whatever price like twice as high as the original price tag right next to it. I mainly go for the CDs, though Value Village is so much better for those.
